Hagemeyer North America Wins Philips Breakthrough Award
CHARLESTON, SC; May 2009 — Hagemeyer North America's Integrated Supply team earned the Royal Philips Electronics Supplier Awards – Breakthrough Award 2008. The award was presented at a ceremony in Amsterdam in May.
"I can assure you that choosing a winner from an incredibly strong field of nominations was no easy task, but ultimately our judges were convinced that your company deserved this Award given the fact that Hagemeyer was instrumental in building up the One Philips MRO Integrators project," said Maarten de Vries, Global Head Philips Supply Management and IT in Amsterdam, Netherlands. "Furthermore, your company is known to provide exceptionally high customer service levels."
Hagemeyer North America was selected by Philips Supply Management Leadership Board and recognizes Hagemeyer’s achievements in breakthrough projects in areas such as TCO, quality and costs; as well as improvements in its Global Supplier Rating System (GSRS) scores with Philips.
